Originally from the north of Italy, Irene has several years of experience in the tourism industry and a genuine interest in history. This passion was strongly influenced by her family’s stories of surviving the Second World War in Italy, which shaped her curiosity for the past and its human dimension.
Over the years, she has worked as a guide in different areas of Europe, particularly in the northernmost regions such as Finnish Lapland and Northern Norway. These experiences enriched her approach to guiding and strengthened her appreciation for diverse cultures, landscapes, and histories.
In recent years, she discovered Normandy and developed a deep connection to the region for its authenticity, cultural richness, and remarkable historical heritage. What fascinates her most about this profession is the ability to create meaningful connections between people, places, and stories, and to show how history can bring individuals together through shared understanding and reflection.
