WHO ARE WE ?

Bayeux Shuttle is a top local tour company offering touring experiences departing daily from Bayeux. The company is a family operated company based in Normandy. Bayeux Shuttle’s quality international reputation is accredited to the particular group of in-house guides who not only are experts in their field but have a particular gift for expression and transmission. We strongly believe, the guide’s personality is the ‘make or break’ factor in a successful tour.

OUR STORY

In 2012, Bayeux Shuttle was a small tour company comprised of a handful of passionate expert guides and a few vans. Experiencing great success in the following years, the company obtained international recognition and has since successfully expanded its fleet to include 15+ vans and small coaches. With this empowering expansion, the company’s vision has remained unchanged: to provide quality presentations by the most passionate select guides. Trip Advisor and Rick Steve’s Travel Guide have strongly recommended Bayeux Shuttle year after year since its creation.

Bayeux Shuttle is owned and operated by a Franco-American Couple, namely, Adrienne O’Donoghue (from Bethesda, MD) and Edouard Sion (from Normandy) who have over 20 years of experience in the logistics and tourism sectors in Normandy. Their ‘dual-culture’ approach successfully integrates the local logistics expertise and the American quality service.

Adrienne was raised in a US Navy family. Three of her four children are currently serving in the US Armed forces. Her obligation to honor our military is ever-present in her professional career. Following four years in Williamsburg at the College of William and Mary studying in the footsteps of our forefathers, she fled to Normandy, to study in the footsteps of our brave soldiers. She remains a strong advocate of ‘teaching the past in order to better the future’.
