Carol Duval grew up on Omaha Beach. Her family survived the Nazi Occupation, the D-Day Invasion and the reconstruction period of Normandy. Throughout her life, she was surrounded by family and friends who lived this dark period first hand. She had met hundreds of WWII veterans and has dedicated her entire life to the mission of sharing the first-hand accounts with the future generations.
Carol is an active member of two US Veteran Associations and spends several months per year in the US assisting the veteran families. The presentation is filled with the history, the soldier stories and the local perspective.
